Be A Voice For The Victims #MesoAwarenessDay

Did you know that today is Mesothelioma Awareness Day? Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance and Individuals like myself are working together to help spread awareness of the disease and it's causes.
Did you know that Mesothelioma is a very rare cancer, and it is caused by exposure to asbestos fibers!  That means one can be affected and they themselves do not have to have work in direct contact to a building or area that has asbestos!
Heather Von St. James is one of those individuals!  She is almost a 10 year survivor of    mesothelioma, which was caused by exposure to asbestos fibers on her fathers work jacket as a little  girl. While many of us enjoying the birth of their bundle of joy, Heather received the news within months of the birth of her daughter that she had Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma.  Upon receiving that terrible news she underwent a drastic surgery that consisted of heated chemotherapy solution and the removal of her left lung.

Take a moment to educate yourselves and once your done share to ensure you can educate your networks as well!  You might just help to save a life!
